"Friends of"
Nijkerk-Schenectady Foundation established the "Friends of". This group of Friends support the foundation and its goals.
What do the "Friends of"?
This enthusiastic group of people have a relationship with Schenectady. The foundation stays in contact with the “Friends of” by means of an annual meeting (a Potluck dinner) and the website". These "Friends of" will be informed of the activities of the foundation and the “Friends of" can participate in the programming of those exchanges or projects. For each exchange assistance is needed and the "Friends" do like to be involved in those activities.
A "Friend of" the foundation supports the foundation with a minimum contribution of € 25, - per year. For this you will receive an annual account.
This money is used for youth exchanges and activities of the foundation.
”Friends of”publish periodically a Newsletter. The following Newletteres are published:

MEDEDELING
Beste Vriend(in) van de Stichting Nijkerk-Schenectady!
Op zaterdag 4 september a.s. is ons jaarlijks potluck dinner gepland. Hiervoor nodigen wij je van harte uit. Dit is het moment om alle contacten weer eens aan te halen!
De gedachte achter een potluck dinner is dat ieder gezin een gerecht meeneemt voor het aantal personen dat van dat gezin aan het potluck dinner deelneemt.
Voor de meesten van u is dit al een bekend gegeven. Wij proberen het zo veel mogelijk vrij te laten, maar om te voorkomen dat iedereen een taart meeneemt (wel lekker) probeert Truus Doornhof het enigszins te coordineren.
Dus het verzoek om als je je zelf aanmeldt:
- Te melden met hoeveel personen je komt en
- Wat je van plan bent om mee te brengen.
Wanneer Truus het nodig vindt om in te grijpen, dan neemt zij contact op om te overleggen of er iets anders meegebracht kan worden.
De stichting zorgt voor de drankjes.
Tijdstip: Van 17.00 tot 20.00 uur
Plaats: Den Akker 11 te Nijkerk
Routebeschrijving komend vanuit Nijkerk (auto): Rijd naar de rotonde van het Ei en neem die ¾ richting Voorthuizen.
Neem de 2e weg links (= Den Akker), gemakkelijk herkenbaar aan de 2 witte bollen langs de weg.
Rijd door totdat je de grens van Nijkerk passeert. Het is daarna het 1e huis aan de linkerkant. Parkeren in de wei.
Kledingadvies: warme kleding, want het is buiten. Het is een informeel buitengebeuren
